Recession Buster
Our good friends the Hughes are innovative and clever when it comes to many many things, and this onsie they gave us for Joel is just one example.

We should be able to rake in the money with this onsie as long as Joel doesn't grow anymore. We may need to up the price to 50 dollars instead of 50 cents.

Giggles from a 3 month old
Joel is giggling! He thinks that Trevor and his cousin Makayla are pretty fun.

Moose-tash
"I'm missing my moose," Trevor told me just now.
"What moose?"
"This moose." and he pointed to his upper lip. I didn't know he had one.
I should have known because he asked me to draw a picture of Poppa and to not forget the moose-juice (or something like that.) And, I recently read him the Moose-tache book about a Moose with an out of control mustache.

Hints of Personality
Joel is showing his personality more each day.
Yesterday was an abnormally fussy, whiny day for him. After swaddling, pacifying, swinging, feeding, playing, and snuggling proved ineffective, we laid him down to check his (dry) diaper, and he stopped crying to smile. I think he likes being naked. He always takes the naked-opportunity to stretches his legs and twist and kick and otherwise enjoy the freedom. That diaper just really gets in his way.
He found his voice the other day during one of these diaper changing parties and it was LOUD! I can't wait to hear it more.

Dad the Barber
This is what I heard down the hall this morning while Scott styled & greased a 2 yr. old's hair.
Trevor: "I look crazy!"
Scott: "I agree."
