oh boys.

Trevor is in swimming lessons now. He has been confusing swim trunks with swim lessons lately, so if he is asked how his swimming lessons are, he excitedly proclaims he loves them and they have orange fish on them.

He thoroughly enjoys it and anticipates even driving up to the YMCA. He has a very small class-- only 2 or 3 boys his age at a time.

I have taken Joel to swim in the kiddie pool during a couple of Trevor's lessons. He LOVES it. I followed him as he walked around the shallow end for awhile and I thought he kept losing his balance and falling forward. Nope. He was just trying to get away from mommy to plunge into the water more fully. So he did that over and over and over again until he found the stairs and decided to plunge from there. That was fun for a while, then he found an even higher jumping point on the side of the pool. Do you see where this is going? Oh, boy.

I am glad that he is not afraid of the water. In fact, at home, he will just lay in the bathtub with his eyes, nose and mouth above water.

Scott brought home a mini trampoline and it has been a good place to bounce some of the energy out. It didn't take long before Trevor was asking to move the tramp next to the coffee table so he could "boing and touch the ceiling."

At the same time, Joel is eager enough to climb up on everything, but not careful enough to not fall from his perches. So, I've had to isolate all of the climbable things I can. His enthusiasm for jumping into our arms has led to one of his first words, "Uh-gi" (for again).

Trevor now says his name correctly instead of Treber.
