How to be a mom and a judge of a bike jumping contest

One day the boys and a friend wanted to do a bike jumping contest over the ramp in the front yard.   They asked me to be the judge.
Well, since there's no conflict of interest there, I said, "Of course."

If you are asked to be this person, you should first write the contestants names.  Backwards.  (I actually did that for safety sake and not to be funny)

Then you should do the scoring in pictures and not numbers.  They will be very confused by this at first, but it's much better than numbers.  Make them up as you go.  Be very excited about them.  Like this:

"Wow.  A Brainy Smurf!! I was not expecting that but he really pulled it off. Nice!"

You'll see here that Rovert first performed at Fuzzy Pickle, then a Burning Bush, Split Lava, and ended with a Lazy Volcano.  Ekaj started out easy with Peas in a Pod, then ended with Corn Teeth-- which was thrilling to watch.  Leoj really killed it with his Fuzzy Banana.

And that's how you do it.
