Been tagged---

I've Been Tagged by Mrs. Hula-rific Wieber and need to share seven interesting things about me! (Her list is a must- read!)

1 I won the Superbowlin' Saturday BMX Bike in the 5th grade --much to the chagrin of several boys.

2 I won spelling bee medals every year from 1st grade through 8th grade.

3 I have been a member of a billiards team. Several of them actually. Not an especially skilled member.

4 I have made a living working with computers, but my college transcripts include an big F for Introduction to Computers. Day 1: This is a mouse. Day 2: This is a keyboard. Day 3: Absent. Day 4: Absent . . .

5 While in college, I joked about "bearing his (Scott's) children" ---yet never dated and rarely flirted with him.... Viola, ten years later our son is born! God miraculously and dramatically changed us and poured out His grace on our lives.

6 I fractured my leg in a limbo contest the first night of a sisters-only vacation in Cancun, Mexico. I had some really ghetto souvenir crutches to take home!

7 One of many many odd-jobs was a spokesperson for a special kind of car oil. I just said a few things about it in a sales video. I think in that same year I wore a radiation badge to work, served samples of pork, and designed a cover for a "Drum Circle" video.

So now I need to tag 7 more people! So, please consider yourself "tagged". You can post your interesting facts on your blog, facebook, etc. Be sure to send it back to me so I can learn more about you!

OH MY WORD...I'm laughing so hard I'm actually crying!!! I would have paid some big money to see what kind of effort you were putting into that limbo contest to actually break your leg!!!! :o) The rest of your items were so very "Keri". It seems that all your quirky experiences and willingness to try anything has made you into the very enduring friend we all know and love.

¡HOLA, MAMACITA! Is that bundle ready to hatch or what?! Trevor will have him in shades on the back of his trike in no time!

I didn't get your "survey" because... da-da-da-daaatt-da-da... I'M UNEMPLOYED! After donating 8 1/2 years to the Post Register, I packed up my desk, hung up my pica pole and said "farewell" to my first (and only) post-college job.

In four days, I'm jumping back into the world of academia to pursue my second bachelor's in elementary education. I'm considered a "special grad" thanks to my previous degree. (No, I won't be riding the short bus to school). Savannah has the honor of being my personal guinea pig for the next two years.

Write to me at home at sawmlwslw@msn.com. I promise to get back to you ASAP.

Oh, I'm also taking a Javascript class from the college of business, so I'll be calling on your web expertise often!

Take care! Love to you, Scott, Trevor and your newby!

Jen, I could add some before and after pictures to the limbo contest and elaborate, but I thought those should stay off the world wide web machine. : ) As a side note, my sister did win second place in that same contest-- I think the prize was a t-shirt. Jen and Wendi also won the priviledge of pushing me around in a wheelbarrow-like stroller the next day at one of the dolphin parks.

Which sis won 2nd place? Hooray for the Evans girls and for stepping in to make sure they come out on top, still. Limbo skills must run in your genes.

My sister Jen got 2nd place. She is a woman of many talents! She would tell you, though, the first place winner must have been just 12 years old and a gymnast! At one point during our stay the maid offered to "fix" my foot like a chiropractor. I politely declined.
