Trevor caught on to the idea of turning 2 years old and eating birthday cake and ice cream very quickly! So quickly, in fact, I realized I should have waited until maybe just 2 days before instead of 4 or 5 days. We picked out his cake at the store. When I asked him if he wanted chocolate or vanilla or carrot he replied, "Blue!!" So we had blue birthday cake and ice cream.
The morning of his birthday we put streamers over his door and scattered balloons around the house. He woke up and just knew how to start the day with enthusiasm (which actually pretty normal for him.) He ran through his bedroom door saying, "Weee" and kicking the balloons.
