Things learned

• Snow down the coat is cold.
• Even a terrible Yogi and BooBoo impression can keep the boys' giggles rolling.
• Joel has learned how and when to say "Uhhhhg" drop to the ground and play dead.
• Trevor has learned much about Jesus' birth and life and that it's fun to play it out. Yesterday when we played he had Joseph carry a laser gun in order shoot King Herod.
• Trevor is learning Christmas is a month-long celebration and picking out gifts for kids is fun.
• Joel has learned where the volume control is on my phone and memorized all of the most obnoxious buttons on his piano from Grandma and Grandpa.
• I have learned it takes a more than 2 strings of lights to wrap around a 11 ft. tree.
• I have learned it costs one aching back and help from the neighbors to make a snow hill worthy of sledding. But it's totally worth it.

• I have learned to run outside and I'm loving it!
• Joel has learned that he can walk into any imaginary playing scenario with a growl and fit in.
• The boys and I have learned from Daddy what a mace is. Now I don't have to call it that mean club thing with spikes on the end. As in, "Joel! Go get your mace and come play!" (Ours is made of foam.)
• Scott and I have learned it's now easier to put two boys in one bed than two boys in two beds. Some major improvements have been sleeping through the night and now sleeping even better through the night in the same room! The bedtime routine was never so easy or sweet. They definitely consider themselves friends.

I love all the leaned things, but the last one is the best! I'm so happy they have each other...and that you guys are getting some rest.
