It's June finally!

And Trevor has been celebrating this break from school with enthusiasm and lots of time playing.  Lots and lots of time playing.

The first words Scott hears when he gets home is "Will you jump on the tramp with us?"  And now you see why. : )

We had a great morning with these friends riding to the Heron/Cormorant rookery and taking an adventure through the cottonwoods.

Our sweet Kaneda graduated homeschool and we celebrated with her friends and family.

I edited this video for her:

Trevor made her a special ninja mask out of white electrical tap and felt as graduation present. Trevor and Joel love to have her babysit.
She received it with such enthusiasm and love!  "Sweeeet!  Now we can play ninjas!!"
Now you see how special this girl is?!
We went to Blackfoot to visit my parents.  I started to feel nauseated and pulled off the freeway.  We sat in this little restaurant/gas station for about an hour to be near a bathroom.  So. not. fun.  I gave the boys 2 dollars each to spend and this kept them very happy and occupied.  $4 bought me plenty of time to feel better.  So, that's really my point.  If you ever find yourself in that situation, give your kids a little bit of money.

The boys played croquet.  And by croquet, I mean war croquet.  That is where you just try to hit the other person's ball with your ball.  That's much more fun than messing around with those little white wickets.

We went to the Tautphaus Park Zoo.  Trevor and I just like to look at the petting animals and not touch them.

This was the lion's activity everytime we passed by.  I heard moms say, "Go look at the zebras!"
Did you know flamingos stink?
This squirrel.  *sigh*  My parents are totally allowing this mischief.

My dad made waffles and Trevor monopolized the strawberry bowl and was overjoyed to put on the whip cream by himself.

Joel was equally amazed by breakfast.  (Mom and Dad enjoyed the spoiling.)

My mom wouldn't be my mom without a steady supply of water balloons.  We tested them out in the not quite 70 degree morning.

Here she is trying to prove me wrong that long animal-tying balloons will indeed work with water in them.

We live 2 blocks from the train tracks where potatoes have been loaded for decades.  It's loud and annoying and home : ).

We took a break at the Perrine Bridge.

I think Joel was trying to pretend he was in jail.  Silly boy!

These are great photos and video. I guess I missed them earlier this month, What a fun tribute to Kaneda. You guys can really rap! The photos in Blackfoot certainly showed how much fun you all had too!
