Snake Catching

We spent some time with the cousins and took them down to the river for something to do.  We usually just throw rocks and explore, but this time we were excited to find some garter snakes.

 

And, since Joel didn't get to catch one the first time, we've been hunting for another chance. 

Yesterday it was Joel's turn to catch a snake and my turn to freak out!  You might have to turn the volume down after you see the snake start to curl up.
