Super special field trip

My mom is the coolest.  She is full of adventure and fun.  For instance, instead of telling us we couldn't toilet paper, she would taxi us around early Saturday mornings and let us "polk-a-dot" houses.  She was the mom taking us to dance competitions in other states, a vacation planner through interesting spots and entertained by crazy new toys or watching the grandkids play with them.

The mere thought of adventure excites her.  We took her to sushi once and was excited up to the point of ordering-- even though she couldn't go through with eating seafood raw, she was still glad to be there.  The lady is a bundle of enthusiasm.

She gave me whatever braided hair style I could invent and would work on it for hours if necessary.  I think she even would have braided my hair into a hat if I had asked her.  Maybe I did.  She probably would have if it didn't require more shelac than Aqua Net.

This mom has spent years taking x-rays of people. And, now,  for a curious homeschooled kindergartner (and with permission), she is taking pics of leftovers, bunnies, and wind-up toys. She is awesome.

Joel is learning which buttons to push.  Wait... he already knows enough of those.

Medical equipment makes Joel nervous.  This is what he does when he is nervous.

Thanks, Mom!
