Joel is walking and growing and eating and sleeping!

December 1st Joel started walking. He just walked 4 steps away from me and without any coaxing! It seemed to be just the shortest distance from Point A to Point B. He is an independent and practical little guy.
Now, just one month later, he is walking less like Frankestien and more like a baby on a mission...."I'll just tear down this hall and skip on into the bathroom where I can play in some of that splashy stuff."
He just slept 11 hours last night. That's 11 hours straight and it's a big deal around here. Mommy and Daddy have been losing it (for about a year). He also eats better. Therefore, the rest of the day is much better, too.
Here is a picture of Joel giving his look. He gives it whenever he isn't getting his way and sometimes accompanies a whimper.
Joel went from an infant to a toddler in both walking skills and playing skills so fast! He's a sweet little boy who wants to climb whatever is in front of him and if it's too tall he'll move whatever he can to get a step up. He'll dash to Daddy for hugs and kisses. He hugs back and sometimes kisses. He likes to do his little baby dance to whatever beat. He is learning new signs quickly. And I get to enjoy him all day long!
